Church Restoration : we had a huge amount of money to raise, but thanks to the hard work of our dedicated fundraising committee and the generosity of the villagers and others we have almost reached our target and are confident of raising it all by the end of this summer. The work has already been started and visitors are asked to bear with us during this important time of redevelopment and rebirth for our church. The tower has scaffolding covering its west face, the bell has been removed for refurbishment and will be replaced as soon as the tower repairs are completed, and the pews have already been moved from the north wall and the floor made good ready for the wall to be replastered and the new interior building work started. We hope that the work will be completed by the end of the summer. Regular services will continue throughout the restoration work.

The interregnum : our good friend and vicar Ivan is moving on to pastures new and we have yet to begin the process of appointing a new priest-in-charge for St Andrew's and our sister church of St Augustine, in Hedon. Until such an appointment is made our church services will continue as before (see this page) with visiting clergy from throughout the diocese and the hard work of the Parochial Church Council!

Prayer Group : We have a prayer list and prayer group who meet every week. We pray about any issues or concerns you may have for yourself and others. Please let us know if we can help or put your name on the list. We would love to listen, pray, encourage and support you.
